Trick-or-Treat Time!

FINALLY ... we have worked all day preparing, and it is now time to go trick-or-treating! The kids could hardly contain themselves. Ready to hit the street are Darth Vader (Cooper), Clonetrooper (Lance), and the infamous pig (Brooke). They had the perfect night!!!

Another Halloween Visit

One more stop before the neighborhood party and trick-or-treating! This stop was to Grammy and Grampy's house. Though the kids were a bit restless at this point, we did still manage to get a couple of pictures ... Grammy with Brooke and Grampy with Darth Vader & Clonetrooper!

Halloween Visit

Our first stop before trick-or-treating was to Mamaw and Papaw's. Since our cousins Karson, Emerson, Reese, and Ryan Margaret were there at the same time, we were able to get a picture of 7 great-grandchildren with Mamaw and Papaw. It was a wild & quick visit!

Pumpkin Carving

Scooter Comes Home with Lance

Lance brought his class mascot home today from school. He is so excited to have Scooter for our action packed weekend! Welcome Scooter!

Brooke's Halloween Parade

Brooke's preschool had a Halloween parade on Thusday. All of the kids and teachers dressed up and walked through each of the classrooms. Here is Brooke walking with her teacher Ms. Priscilla (Snow White). Had Brooke had on her pig nose, I think you would have figured out what she was!!!

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Play Date with New Friends

The boys were so excited to have a playdate during Fall Break with their new friends Sam and Isaac. All the boys played soccer together this fall. The boys had a great time! (And I enjoyed hanging out with Sarah and Beth too!)

Family Hiking

This was the perfect ending to Fall Break ~ a family hike! The weather was perfect; and all the kids amazed me by hiking nearly 2 miles! Great memories!!!

Camp Fire Fun

Good Times with Family

Our First Toothless Child

Excitement filled our home on the 18th of October when Cooper lost his first tooth! The boys' anticipation of the Tooth Fairy was escalated beyond what I ever imagined it would. Luckily, the Tooth Fairy arrived at some point during the night. Lance woke up first, peeked under Cooper's pillow, and ran in our room to tell us what he received. The life of twins!!!

Daddy's Little Helpers

The kids were all excited to help Chad as he recently cleared out a spot in the back yard for a fire pit. Good times!!!

A Girls Night Out

With Brooke's love of pigs, I couldn't resist taking this picture of her!

Margaret and Brooke enjoying a night out with the moms ... and no brothers!!!

Crazy Kids

Our Soccer Family

Everyday, I thank God for my wonderful family! I feel so very blessed to have a godly husband and three beautiful children; each with their own gifts and talents! Without doubt, we are truly blessed.

Play Date with Friends

Lance and Cooper were so excited to have Bo and Owen come over to play on Thursday after school. They had a great time playing football & basketball and riding 4-wheelers. What wonderful friends!!!

This Week in Kindergarten

This week has been a fun week for me with kindergarten! Walking through the hallway of the school I where I attended kindergarten ... WOW ~ have things sure changed in 30 years!!!

Cooper's art project

Lance with some of his new friends at lunch

On Wednesday, I volunteered in Lance's class. It was great to be in the classroom and to meet the kids that he is now friends with. Apparently, Lance (and Cooper) enjoy chasing the girls on the playground; they like chasing the boys too! I loved meeting these girls ... they are so cute!!! After volunteering in Lance's room, I ate lunch with him in the cafeteria.
On Thursday, I taught Cultural Arts in Cooper's classroom. Again, it was fun to meet the kids that he talks about each day. Cooper (and all his class) enjoyed learning about the color wheel; more so, they loved mixing the primary color icing to see what new colors they could make. After cleaning up this big mess, I enjoyed lunch with Cooper in the cafeteria.

Soccer Party

The Infamous Cookie Cake ... My Favorite!

The boys were thrilled to receive their soccer trophies at the pizza party! They had a great season!

Blakely's Birthday Party

Happy 6th Birthday, Blakely!
Blakely had a fun party at the bowling alley last weekend. The kids had a great time!

FHS Homecoming Game

Daddy and his boys

Maddie and Brooke

Alyssa won Homecoming Queen!!! We were so excited for her!

Reading to the Kids

With the twins in kindergarten, they are both eager to read everyday ... this is a good thing! And of course, Brooke likes the idea as well. Thought this was a sweet picture to share as Chad is reading to all the kids.

The Loose Tooth

We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Tooth Fairy! About a week and a half ago, I asked the kids to go upstairs and brush their teeth before bedtime ... I quickly added the words "brush them really well" because they had all eaten so much junk! Within about 60 seconds, Cooper was crying hysterically. He had brushed his teeth so hard that he knocked one of his bottom teeth loose. I can see the new one coming in behind it; the boys are very excited! Shouldn't be long unti the Tooth Fairy arrives!!!

Halloween is Quickly Approaching ...

... and all this girl wants to be for Halloween is a pig. I still do not understand her obsession wtih "piggies", but we are just going with that for now! One of the moms in Brooke's preschool class made her a pig costume for Halloween ... and it is adorable! Needless to say, Brooke is absolutely THRILLED and can hardly wait for the 31st!

Tennessee Football

Soccer Saturdays

Our soccer season has come to an end. All the kids had so much fun during the season; each becoming better players. The boys worked very hard on learning "lanes" and passing the ball to the open player. Brooke learned to take the ball to the goal, in addition to the importance of putting both feet on the field instead of riding on Coach Mom's hip!

Fishing with Papaw

Cooper, Papaw, and Lance with the "big catch"!

The boys went fishing with Papaw Friday afternoon and made a BIG catch! Papaw was so impressed, that he took a picture of the fish while being measured! It didn't take long before Papaw fried the fish for all the boys to eat ... what a fun afternoon!

Football Fun with Friends

We decided to head to the soccer field about an hour before practice Monday night. The boys had a great time playing football with some of their friends!

Fun at the Park

This past Sunday, the kids and I went to the park after church. We had a great time ... and were even able to watch some of Chad's tennis match!
