Daddy's Little Helpers

Cooper was very anxious to help Daddy and Papaw move one of the plants in the backyard. Starting them early might just pay off one day!

Brooke decides she should be in charge of the wheelbarrow. She tried to push it a couple of times, but it quickly tipped over!

Lance takes his turn carrying part of the plant. Quite the helper, huh?!?

Last Day of Preschool

Ryan, Cooper, and Lance have time for a quick picture before heading out for their last day at preschool.

Brooke on her way to school today. I just couldn't miss this picture opportunity!

Lance wanted me to take a picture of him with Ms. Jami this morning. Both the boys really enjoyed their teachers this year; they were spectacular!

Brooke with one of her best friends, Skylar. They have already developed a very special friendship!

Enjoying our last lunch before the summer break ... We had a fun time!

We decided we should treat ourself to a pedicure today. Everyone needs a little pampering!

Today was the last day of preschool. All the kids had a great day at school, and I was able to enjoy myself as well on this day. Happy Summer!!!

Another Fun Day with Friends

All the boys decided to dress-up tonight .... Triv, Andrew, Cooper, Colin, and Lance. They had a blast!!!

Skylar and Brooke had a good time playing together at the pool today. They were most occupied with the paint brushes and their crackers!

Cooper, Lance, and Triv enjoying a quick snack between swims at the pool.

We had a very fun day today. We played tennis, took the kids to the pool, and then cooked out at some friends' house. The kids were exhausted by the time we arrived home.

Bike Riding without Training Wheels

Daddy beginning to let go of Cooper's bike as he goes for his very first run without training wheels.

And he's OFF .... slow down Cooper!!!

Daddy coaching Lance on keeping his balance on the driveway.

One of Lance's first runs down the front yard.

Daddy decided that it was time to teach Lance & Cooper to ride their bicycles without training wheels. This was their first attempt; and they both did an incredible job! They started out in the grass and as they neared the road, Daddy would yell, "CRASH" ... and the boys would fall off their bikes and laugh hysterically!

Peacocks

The kids enjoy going to their Gigi's house ~ especially when the peacocks are out! We actually were able to take this picture one night. They are beautiful!

Cooper & Lance's Church Choir Performance

Lance is paying close attention as his teachers speak to the class.

Cooper is ready for the big performance!

One ... two ... three ..... ACTION!!!

This past Wednesday 5/16, Cooper and Lance sang at church in the Children's Choir Spring Program. Their class sang "My God is So Big," "Oh, How I Love Jesus," and "Master Designer." They did a great job, and everyone enjoyed it!

Fun Night at Home

We ended our evening with a quick swim at the neighborhood pool with our friend and neighbor, Carson. All three boys had a great time! Cooper even braved the deep-end of the pool jumping in and swimming to the ladder. He did a fabulous job and announced that he is now ready for the beach!

A girl after Mom's own heart ...
Is she a natural or what?!?

Cooper enjoys drawing with chalk on the driveway. He tells me he was drawing a castle ... well done, Cooper!

Cooper oversees Lance's bubble-blowing abilities. After LOTS of concentration from both boys, Lance appears to have won the award for the largest bubble!

Birthday Party Fun

Brooke had so much fun swimming in the pool. She even learned to jump off the steps and make a "big splash"!

Cooper loved his turn on the Sea Doo with Daddy! Looks like a natural; doesn't he?!?

Lance was the first to go out with Daddy on the Sea Doo ... and he wasn't scared to admit that Daddy was going nearly 60 mph.

Tonight we went to a birthday party at my aunt and uncle's house on the lake to celebrate Callie's 2nd Birthday. The kids had a great time swimming and playing with their cousins!

Our First Official Sleep-Over

The kids all had a great time playing on the playset, four-wheelers, bikes, and blowing bubbles. What a fun day!

It's picnic time!

Good morning from the Sleep-Over Crew! The kids were so excited that Blakely and Skylar got to spend the night.

Tired Boys

Daddy and the boys crashed hard last night after an evening of fun with the "camping boys". Although the actual campout was cancelled due to the weather, the boys still managed to get some playtime in with all their friends.

Cooper, Tyler, and Lance had a great time at the pool today!

Lance & Cooper with their friend, Will. They enjoyed rough-housing in the pool with each other.

Cooper is frantically chasing after Drew while Lance poses for a snapshot!
The weather was beautiful today so some friends and I decided to take all the kids to the pool after preschool. They had a fun time ... and the moms were even able to visit for a little bit!!!

Cooper and Brooke take a break from the pool to have a quick snack.

Lance is sporting his new goggles!

Lance decides he should be the one to "escort" his lil' sister to the playground. Brooke happily follows his lead!

Cooper enjoys going down the slide at the park today!

Brooke's favorite activity at the park is swinging "real high"!

Cooper and Lance pose for a quick picture while climbing in the log cabin.

Our Weekend

We ended the weekend with a family trip to the grocery store. We don't do this very often; yet when we do, everyone wants to be involved!

The boys enjoyed washing themselves and each other today rather than helping Mom wash the car! They had a BLAST!!!

Where is Cooper?!?

Do they look suspicious to you?!?
They have already figured that two heads are better than one!

This was Brooke's first time being in the neighborhood pool this year. She quickly realized that she enjoyed swimming all around the pool with her life jacket on! And may I add that she is quite proud of herself for braving the deep end!!!

Sprinkler Fun

Brooke decides it is best to just stick her hand in the sprinkler rather than running through like her big brothers!

Cooper running his fastest to get through the sprinkler.

Cooper and Lance could not believe we actually gave them the "green light" to play in the sprinklers in their clothes; they were ecstatic!

The evening started out with the kids playing in the sprinkling rain ... however, it ended with the kids playing in the sprinklers ~ at least the boys. They could not believe their good fortune!

Suzanne and the kids

Lance, Brooke and Cooper are pictured with their first babysitter, Suzanne. She has been an amazing asset to our family over the years. She started babysitting for us when the twins were only 4 months old! We will miss her incredibly as she graduates from college and continues to plan her fall wedding. She will always hold a special place in our hearts!
