Slumber Party

Drew spent the night with the boys this past week. All the boys were so excited as was the little sister too! Lance, Cooper, and Drew did not hesitate to include Brooke in everything they did. The only time she was unhappy was at bedtime when she did not get to sleep beside Drew! What fun memories!!!

Blakely Comes to Play

Lance and Cooper were so excited to have Blakely come over to play today! They had a fun time playing outside.

Cool Shades!

More Project Work

Rain or shine ... Hot or cold ... Lance and Cooper continue to "oversee" Pappaw's playhouse project!

Happy Easter!

We had a fantastic Easter and enjoyed time with both of our families that day! The kids had a special day!

Backyard Project

Papaw wanted to build Brooke a playhouse in the backyard; and the project is underway! All the kids get so excited when Papaw pulls up to the house to work ... and Papaw is extremely patient as they each find what they can do to partcipate in the project. So far, they have enjoyed helping carry all the needed tools & supplies to the work site, measuring boards, and hammering nails. I have enjoyed watching all the interaction take place ... we are blessed to have such a terrific Dad/Papaw!!!

Baseball Uniforms

The boys had baseball practice last night. As soon as they got home, Cooper ran upstairs. I could hear Lance downstairs and wondered what he was doing. Within a couple of minutes, he anxiously ran up the steps to show off his new baseball uniform ... I had no idea he would be so excited! They are both looking forward to a fun season!

Trip to Chattanooga

My friend Dana and I took our 4 boys to Chattanooga for a night away during Spring Break week. We decided that a change of scenery would be perfect! Everyone had a great time. The boys were able to swim at the hotel. The following day, we went to the Discovery Museum; played at the park (only temporarily due to the fact that the boys were not thrilled with our rule: No tackle football on the sidewalks); and rode the carousel. What fun memories!

Brooke's First Sleepover

Brooke was so excited to spend the night with Margaret (and Max) while the boys and I went to Chattanooga for a night away. The girls had a fun time ... Brooke is looking forward to Margaret coming over to our house very soon! Thank you, Lindsey, for braving this experience!

Another Fun Day!

Yesterday, we went to Chick-fil-A with some friends and managed to stay for nearly 3 hours. Once we realized the weather was nice outside, we decided to take the kids to the park to play. Needless to say, by the time we got home, they were exhausted ... but it was all worth it!!!

Afternoon Walk

On Monday, the kids wanted to go see the ducks in a nearby pond. We packed snacks and took bread to feed the ducks. It was the perfect afternoon for a stroll!

Louisville Trip

This past weekend, we went to Louisville to visit my brother and his family. We had an awesome time! As always, the kids were thrilled to see their cousins, and we were able to enjoy some adult time! Thanks Price & Cheryl for a great weekend!

Sunday School Easter Egg Hunt

Lance & Cooper's Class Easter Egg Hunt

This past Thursday, the boys' preschool class had an Easter Egg Hunt at their best friend Drew's house. Everyone had a great time hunting eggs and playing games!

More Outside Fun!

We have had some great weather over the past couple weeks! The kids have all enjoyed running WILD in the backyard ... and do I mean WILD!!!

Football Fun

Warmer Weather ... At Last!

Our Great Friend Tyler

Lance & Cooper were excited to have Tyler come play. Looks like we could just add him to our family ... he fits right in!!!

Baseball Practice

The boys are very excited about playing baseball this year! They started practice a few weeks ago; everytime I found them on the field, they both had huge smiles.
They played t-ball 2 years ago and took last year off to focus on other sports :-) I think this season will be great for them as they will have an opportunity to make some new friends that will likely go to kindergarten with them. No doubt, it will be a very fun journey for us all!

Priceless ...

What a perfect day ... and what precious children!!! Need I say anymore?!?

At Last ... Outside Play!

All Smiles!

The girls went to church on Sunday while the boys continued to recover from their sickness. Brooke was telling Cooper "Good-bye" ... and I just had to take this picture!

A Little Baseball Practice

Nurturing Brooke

This particular morning, we found out that Lance & Cooper had the flu for the second time in only 3 1/2 weeks. Needless to say, Cooper was not feeling so great; Brooke worked hard all day to cheer him up!
