Today was Emerson's 5th Birthday! The boys had a fun time at the party.

Last night, the entire family went to the track to exercise. Everyone had a great time and got LOTS of energy out!

Today, we met Mimi, Quinten, and Ainsley at Chuck E. Cheese. The kids all had a great time playing with one another and eating pizza. My mom and I enjoyed some adult conversation time!

Movie Day

The lighting is not great; however, this was the best we could do taking their picture at the movies. The boys, in particular, thought this "light pole" was incredibly COOL; of course, Brooke quickly agreed with them!

Brooke found her way to the arcade as we were trying to leave the movies and hopped right on this motorcycle. She was so happy!

Today, the kids and I ventured to the movie theater to take advantage of a free showing of "Charlotte's Web". After the movie was over, the kids decided they wanted to go to Target and pick out their own "Lunchable" as opposed to going out to lunch. The idea was just perfect! We went home, enjoyed lunch, and all had a very lazy afternoon.

Quinten and Ainsley are in town for the week; and our kids are ecstatic! Mimi and Papaw decided to have a slumber party with all 5 grandkids tonight .... WOW, are they brave!?!

Tonight we went to Zack's 2nd Birthday Party. The kids had a great time playing on the water slide and eating cake & ice cream! The adults had fun visiting too!

Baby Clark Comes to Visit

Charlton, Lindsay, and Baby Clark came in town this weekend. We were so excited when Lindsay and Gigi brought Clark by for a visit; he has grown so much. I think he enjoyed watching the chaos in our home; I know my children were thrilled to see him!

This was our best attempt at getting all the kids together with Gigi for a picture! Of course, Brooke may have been a bit cuter with clothes on!!!

Today was a fun day at our house! The boys invited a few friends over to play. Everyone had a terrific time ... even Mom and Brooke! Lance and Cooper are so blessed with such wonderful friends!

Brooke doesn't know what to think about the fish!

Our famliy is very blessed by the fact that their Mimi keeps them once a week; at home, we refer to it as "Mimi Mondays"! Today was a "Mimi Monday".

Papaw decided to take off work early to take the boys fishing ... looks as if it was a very successful fishing adventure. They caught 8 or so fish ~ a big largemouth bass which they threw back and 5 bream they kept, including one bream 10" long! Papaw plans to filet the 5 bream and serve them to the boys soon.

What a terrific memory .... Thanks Papaw!!!

We had a fabulous Friday! We went to Reese's birthday party, enjoyed playing & swimming in pool with our friends, and got to play a little tennis with our Daddy! What a fun day ...

Brooke was a bit hesitant to get in the tube at first, but she ended up enjoying her first tubing experience! Aunt Cheryl & cousin Ainsley encouraged her the whole ride!

Last week, we were able to spend some time with my brother's family at the lake. We all had a great time hanging out while watching the kids swim, jump on the trampoline, tube, and watching Quinten & Ainsley both ski! Needless to say, we were sad to say our good-byes yet are anxious about our upcoming trip to visit them!
